Privacy Policy

This policy explains how American Signal Media, LLC (“RetireShield,” “we,” or “us”) handles information when you use RetireShield.
Information we collect
We may collect information you provide, including your email address, contact messages, requested resources, purchase details and information needed to fulfill a product. Payment information is processed by our payment providers; RetireShield does not store your full card number.
We may also collect basic device, referral and usage information, including pages viewed, links clicked and source or campaign information.
Cookies and tracking technologies
RetireShield and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, measure traffic and understand how the site is used. For product analytics we use PostHog, which sets cookies or similar identifiers to record page views, clicks and events; form inputs are masked. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to sell your information.
How we use information
We use information to deliver requested resources and purchases, operate the Retirement Money Brief, provide support, prevent fraud, measure and improve our services, comply with legal obligations and send marketing messages when you have consented.
Service providers
We may use providers such as WordPress hosting, Beehiiv for newsletters, Stripe and PayPal for payments, email-delivery providers such as Resend, and PostHog for analytics. They process information only for the services they provide to us.
Email choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing messages through the link in any newsletter. Purchase receipts, download delivery and essential service messages may still be sent when necessary to fulfill a transaction.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information with service providers, when required by law, to protect rights and security, or as part of a business transaction subject to applicable law.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. Residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws may exercise these rights, including the right to know what we collect and the right to deletion. Because we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, no opt-out of sale is required, but you may still contact us with any request. To make a request, email contact@retireshield.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
Children’s privacy
RetireShield is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above and use reasonable safeguards. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above, and significant changes will be reflected on this page.
